Mobile gallery Aquarium

2023
concretepublicfigurativearchitecture

A twelve-meter shipping container transformed into an original traveling gallery. Thanks to the new glass walls, the shipping container has been transformed into a novel exhibition space. The roof of the container also has its own function, which can be used variably as a podium, terrace, viewpoint or as another exhibition area for exterior sculptures and installations.

The mobile gallery also includes a unique green wall, as one of the sides and part of the roof is covered with greenery, thanks to the first 3D printed flower pots for vertical green walls. It combines three unique ideas – sculpture, 3D printing of concrete and green buildings. The first exhibition was held here with the title: The aquarium is enlarged here and the perspectives of perception are reversed, who is outside and who is inside… Parallel universes and inverted perspectives, are we inside or outside and are we observers or observed?

On display are sculptures of “Angels of the Seas”, “Swimmers” as if levitating in space or diving into a parallel world.
